And what do you do exactly?

As product owner of a large Dutch bank, you try to support your colleagues as best you can with smart apps, cloud solutions, IT services and other facilitating products. It is important that they understand that using these products will make their lives much simpler. In practice, this is still difficult. Because "it's fine the way it is", "I have to learn something new first, it only takes time", etc., etc.

So it is important that you can convince your colleagues of the added value in 2 to 3 minutes, or that they continue to listen to your story. And this is exactly what we worked on during the training with 15 product owners. How can you package your message in such a way that your colleague thinks: hey, he or she understands me and has come up with something useful?

We worked on evoking urgency, delivering with conviction and above all making what you have to offer tangible. No abstract language or jargon, no talk about specs, but concrete examples and visual language that bring your solution to life.

By recording everyone on camera, having them watch themselves back and experimenting with different behavior, the participants gained insight into how they come across, that it is much better than they often think, what works and how they can make even more impact.

End of the day: 15 enthusiastic product owners, 3 satisfied trainers.
