To persuade people, you need to evoke recognition. That's where storytelling comes in. Because with that anecdote about the elephant that stood sniffing in front of you in the Kruger Park or about that e-mail you accidentally sent to the client instead of to your colleague; you evoke memories and thus emotions in your audience, making them connect with you and your message.
Want to learn how to use stories to add color and layers to your presentations? Then Storytelling in Presentations is the perfect match.
The half-day program consists of:
Ingredients of a good story: together we discover what a story must meet and what is important when telling a story.
Story structures: we discuss a few structures and models to quickly shape a story.
Personal stories: the theory is fun, but how do you find a suitable personal story to go with your business message? You'll get tools and start looking for a story that fits your message.
Imagery: it is sometimes said that you can paint with words. Your audience will see it for themselves and imagine themselves in your world. How do you do that? You will be introduced to an effective and practical technique.
And, of course, all participants will share a personal story in which they immediately put the material into practice and receive feedback on content and presentation.
Do you have a question or would you like to consult? We are happy to think along with you!
You will learn:
And, how fun it is to share personal stories...
Nice side benefit is that our presentation trainings are experienced as a perfect team building activity.
