Research has shown that a presentation that contains 1 joke is liked as much as 187% more by the audience.

But is humor innate or can it be learned?

During the workshop Humor in Speeches we will examine a number of issues with you. Think about:

• Why is humor such a powerful tool?
• Why is censorship awkward when writing jokes and how do you break it down?
• What is the role of Truth and Pain in a joke?
• What can be the function of self-mockery?
• Are you familiar with the principle of the inhaker?
• How do you link humor to the core message of your speech?

In short, far too much to cover in 2 hours but we promise it will all come along.
Fear not: it's a workshop. We're not just going to talk about it. You're going to do and try things too.
