Speech of the Month June

In the month of June we had another wonderful crop for the Speech of the Month. Together with Julia Wouters (from theater Desmet) and Patrick Lodiers our own Huib Hudig presented the top 3 at De Nieuws BV on NPO Radio 1.

In third place was the speech by Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen, who confessed to the surprise of parliament that she had written part of her text with Chat GPT.

In second place was the video message by Wagner boss Prigozhin, whose masculine and relaxed communication (cup of coffee in hand) put President Putin to shame.

And first and foremost, Sandra Beckermann's impressive speech in the House of Representatives, expressing her anger and outrage over gas extraction in Groningen. She made the story personal by identifying with the Groningers "We have been wronged. Convincingly, she showed that politicians make promises time and again, but keep failing to keep them. why don't you resign?" she asked Prime Minister Rutte, who was visibly uncomfortable.
