"Forgive me, Forgive me<p>"</p>

Boris Johnson delivered a bizarre speech during CBI 2021. For twenty seconds he flipped through his text confused, "Forgive me," "Forgive me" stammering. Then to freestyle about the importance and success of Peppa Pig World. The audience was hoping for a cogent story with plans to get the British economy on track, they got an incoherent speech with clownish excesses.

It has every appearance of poor preparation. Then get lost in your own story, you can't find your way back. The only thing left is improvisation. But because you have not thought about the purpose of your speech and what message and examples it should contain, it is usually a recipe for disaster.
With the only message that does become clear: people, you do not interest me at all.

It just goes to show that for everyone and every level: preparation is key!
